Meaning of Water divide with examples
Ans: Any upland or a mountain separating two adjoining drainage basins is known as water divide.Though the Indus, the Sutlej and the Brahmaputra rivers rise very close to each other near the Mansarovar Lake but because of the water divides they flow in different directions
Best example: upland where Ambala is located separates indus and ganga river basins.

2.Ans:The largest river basin in India: The Ganga river has the largest basin in india . it lenghs aprox. 2500 km. and cover almost 25%area of country. Although the Indus is larger than Ganga Indus flow only for some extent and more in Pakistan.Thus in India The river Ganga only considered as the largest one.
